Each season brings its own rhythm, yet certain designs remain steady through them all. The CUADRADO Collection was created for that kind of longevity, handmade serveware that feels equally at home on a summer terrace or a winter table dressed in candlelight.
I sculpted the first CUADRADO forms in my San Francisco studio. Each piece is then cast in resin and carefully hand-finished to achieve its soft, tactile surface - a reminder that modern design can still carry the warmth of the maker’s hand.
Colors That Move Through Seasons
When we introduced the Oxblood color last year, it immediately became a favorite. The dark maroon tone brings richness to colder months yet feels equally striking in summer light. That’s what I love about oxblood: it’s not a seasonal red, but a rich neutral that shifts with its surroundings. Pair it with brass and wood for warmth, or with linen and glass for contrast, it always finds its place.
Alongside it, the classic White version offers a natural balance: fresh and timeless, bright in daylight and serene at night. Together, they reflect the balance I try to bring to every collection: form that feels modern, color that feels enduring.
The CUADRADO Champagne Bucket, Large Champagne Bucket, Ice Bucket, and Extra Large Tray come in white and oxblood as well as, grey, black & nude.
The Value of Handmade in a Fast World
In a time when so much is made by machines: identical pieces, produced without pause. Handmade objects are different. They carry time within them. They’re not about perfection, but about presence.
Each of our artisanal resin pieces holds those small marks of the process: a softened edge, a surface gently sanded until smooth, a weight that feels grounding in your hands. These details remind us that the object wasn’t rushed and that design made slowly tends to last longer, both physically and emotionally.
When something is made with care, you can sense it immediately. That’s what I hope people feel with our handcrafted designs.
Objects That Adapt With You
Design shouldn’t be tied to one moment or one look. I like to think of the Cuadrado Collection as a companion through shifting seasons.
Like our Short or Long Centerpiece Bowls, bringing that sense of versatility. Long and low for stretching across a dining table or console. Their sculptural shapes stand beautifully on their own, but they can also be styled in countless ways throughout the year.
In spring, they might hold branches of olive or eucalyptus, or a mix of lemons and limes for a bright, simple touch.
During the summer, fill them with peaches, figs, or hydrangea blooms resting loosely inside.
As fall approaches, swap in pomegranates, persimmons, or dried artichokes.
In winter, their forms shine even when nearly empty, maybe with a few pinecones, walnuts, or small decorative ornaments for warmth and texture. The possibilities are endless, your creativity is limitless.
Nested Trio Bowls, they carry the same sense of rhythm. The different sizes layer easily when entertaining or displaying, one for fruits, one for serving salad, and one for something unexpected, like a collection of stones or dried citrus slices. They work together or apart, moving naturally from kitchen to table, entryway to living room.
These are objects meant to be used, not stored away. Over time, they gather memories, becoming part of the story of how you live.
A Philosophy of Longevity
For me, longevity in design isn’t only about durability, it’s about emotion. When we choose handmade objects, we choose connection. We choose to slow down, to notice details, to bring intention into the spaces where we gather most.
All of our products including the CUADRADO is a reminder of that. That good design doesn’t expire with a season. It simply continues, quietly, beautifully, in any setting.
